2021 Petit Verdot

The 2021 Petit Verdot is a veritable beast of a wine. Inky and nearly impenetrable in the glass, it is powerful but well structured and filled with nuance. It easily personifies our motto of "Smooth; Bold; Elegant." Black cherry is the first note on the nose, followed quickly by black flesh plums and the slightest hint of cherry candy. Those flavors easily translate to the palate, where they're joined by hints of cedar and cigar box. Petit Verdot is no slouch, and the finish is amazingly long lasting, with tannins that grip gently but firmly. Give this wine a generous decant and it will absolutely floor you with its depth. The aging potential of our 2021 Petit Verdot easily exceeds a decade. Pair with smoked Gouda, or a ribeye steak.
